WATER LINE LOCATES
Under Alabama state law, excavators must give utility companies a MINIMUM of 48 hours notice before starting to dig. LCWSA is NOT a member of the Alabama One-Call service; therefore, you must contact us at 256-233-6444, fax request to 256-233-8036, or email pmoore@lcwsa.com if you are going to be working in our service area.

If you have an emergency locate after normal business hours please call 256-230-9228 and a LCWSA representative will be dispatched to locate our lines.

When requesting a locate, there are a few important details we need:

• Company Name
• Caller's Name
• Telephone Number
• Address of Locate
• Nearest Intersecting Road
• Type of Work Being Done
• Road Bore/No Road Bore
• How is Area Marked
• Time Frame (48 hrs/Emergency)
